Goals
To collectively work for the advancement
of the security profession.
To introduce professionalism to industrial
security.
To develop human resources in the profession to meet the challenges of the industry.
To provide a career path to retiring service
and police personnel.
To establish relations with the government to assist in national needs.
To be the representative body of the accredited security service organization.
Approach
It is proposed to take all necessary action including
operational changes in member Organizations to achieve these goals.
One primary task would be to develop skills, knowledge and attitude of security service
personnel to provide a proactive and professional
service as defined by the association. To ensure this is a certification program would
be introduced in two levels.
Any individual engaged in or aspiring to enter security service provision must at least posses the licentiate qualification.
